How music can literally heal the heart
In an article for Scientific American, pianist-mathematician Prof Elaine Chew (French National Centre for Scientific Research, Paris, France), Prof Pier Lambiase (University College London Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Barts Heart Center, London, UK), and colleagues report that music's structural attributes and physiological effects make it an ideal tool for learning cardiology; studying heart-brain interactions; and dispensing neuro-cardiac therapy.
Prof Chew and Prof Lambiase will be speaking about "Music: An Underutilised Tool in Neurocardiology" at A-A HRC2021, which launches on 3rd October. For full programme details and to register: CLICK HERE
