FOP Presents AED To Union County Sheriff’s Office
The Union County Sheriff’s Office and the Murphysboro Police Department on Oct. 23 each received two Automated External Defibrillators, AEDs, as part of a grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The AEDs are being distributed in the state through the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police, FOP, State Lodge.

The city of Hardeeville will purchase eight AED’s (automated external defibrillator) from the proceeds of the city’s fundraising 5K Run/Walk (Hardeeville Fun Run for a cause), which was held Aug. 19, according to City Manager Michael Czymbor.

Hilton Head, SC – August 31, 2017 – On Saturday, August 19, 2017, Arrhythmia Alliance and the City of Hardeeville hosted their first annual Fun Run for a Cause 5K and 1 mile Race. The purpose of this event was to raise funds for new automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to be placed in The City of Hardeeville’s police vehicles.

On Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, Blufftemberfest will return to the Oyster Factory Park from 2-8 p.m. with live music, an art and craft village and food court full of delicious eats! There will be live music, as well as face painting, arts and crafts and water sports. A part of the Bluffton Sunset Party Series, Blufftemberfest welcomes the community to celebrate local foods, vendors, craft beer and homegrown music in a kid and pet friendly environment. Tickets for the Bluffton Sunset Parties are $5 “at the door,” while children 12 and under get in for FREE. Everyone is welcome. Come by boat, bike, or golf cart. Lawn chairs and leashed pets are permitted, but no outside food or drinks will be allowed.
