AF Association Healthcare Pioneers Report

Showcasing Best Practice In AF

AF Association Healthcare Pioneers Report 2022 — Submit your case study today!

We invite you to submit a case study that shows an excellent example of an innovative and effective atrial fibrillation (AF) service, which can be used to inspire others to improve care standards for patients with AF around the world.

Each Case Study must have:

  • A title (max 25 words).
  • An author or group name, location & country.
  • A text submission of no more than 400 words.
  • An appropriate image to accompany the case study.

Please structure your case study as follows: an introduction, brief outline of service, care pathway and/or treatment; results; and conclusion. The conclusion should include implications for patient/service benefits.

An international panel of judges, including Professor John Camm and Professor Hugh Calkins, select which case studies to include in the report. They look at originality, completion, patient involvement and implications for healthcare. The winning case studies will be acknowledged and promoted, with the winning teams receiving a certificate and the option to present their work at an AF Association International AF Meeting. Additionally, their centre will be listed as a Centre of ExcellenceThe published report will be disseminated, during AF Association Global AF Aware Week, as a model of best practice that other centres can adapt to improve their own practice in the management of patients with AF.
