World Heart Day is a global campaign to raise awareness of heart health, Arrhythmia Alliance is urging everyone to Know Your Pulse to know your heart rhythm. The aim is to educate people about the risk factors relating to the heart, which can result in premature deaths from heart disease and stroke.

Heart Rhythm Congress, the largest heart rhythm event in the UK, is now in its 13th year
Heart Rhythm Congress (HRC), the largest heart rhythm event in the UK, organised by Arrhythmia Alliance, is once again being hosted at the ICC in Birmingham. Now in its 13th year, HRC runs from 7-10 October 2018. Initially welcoming patients and carers for Patients Day on the Sunday, the event continues with scientific talks aimed at healthcare professionals, attracting a number of world renowned specialists.
CPR & AED Awareness to Be Added to the UK National School Curriculum following tireless work of Arrhythmia Alliance
Lifesaving first aid, including education on the purpose of defibrillators (AED’s) and when they need to be used, is set to be introduced into the national school curriculum. Following years of campaigns, such as the Arrhythmia Alliance - Defibs Save Lives campaign, the draft regulations could be introduced by 2020.
CPR Could Be Added to the UK National School Curriculum
In a landmark move, the UK government has today revealed plans to add CPR to the national curriculum.
