Defibs in Schools Campaign
Arrhythmia Alliance’s successful 2013 Defibs in Schools program raised awareness of the urgent need for life saving AEDs to be made available in all schools. As a result, in 2014 the UK government pledged to support this initiative and ensure AEDs were part of each school’s essential first aid kit.
In September 2014, Arrhythmia Alliance was delighted to be able to launch Defibs in Schools for a second year, and so continue this life saving work to place AEDs and offer educational tools to raise awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and emergency life saving skills.
If you would like to learn more about placing an AED a School/College/University/Educational Establishment please contact info@defibssaveslives.org or phone 01789 867 501.
