AF Association (AF-A) is an international charity, raising awareness of atrial fibrillation (AF) through information and support materials for patients and medical professionals involved in detecting, diagnosing and managing AF.

Senior Events Associate & Events Associate

We are seeking two enthusiastic, articulate individuals to join our small, friendly but busy events team based in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

The roles will include some UK and international travel to promote the directive of the three charities. Managing event logistics and recording delegate registrations for the charities regional meetings and annual event Heart Rhythm Congress.  Event and marketing experience required.  Applicants should be self-motivated, confident, excellent communication skills and professional attitude.  

Office hours are Monday-Friday, however because of the role flexibility is a must. 
32 days holiday (Inc. Bank Holidays) Role has room for growth and initiative.

Volunteer Ambassadors

We are currently seeking volunteer 'Ambassadors' to support and represent AF Association. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic communicators who are passionate about improving AF services and management for patients, carers and all those involved in the management of AF. 

If you are able to offer either occasional or regular time voluntarily to AF Association, please send a letter highlighting what you consider to be your strengths that you could bring to the post of AF Association Ambassador.

You may have excellent verbal and written skills /  be happy to present about 'Living with AF' to an interested audience / be interested in joining your local CCG Primary Care Practice as a Patient Representative /  hold awareness events / promote fundraising / be interested in establishing an AF Association Affiliated Local Patient Support Group.
