Arrhythmia Alliance Celebrates AF Aware Month
Hilton Head Island, SC- September 12, 2017 – Local charity Arrhythmia Alliance is celebrating AF Aware Month throughout the month of September. AF, also known as atrial fibrillation or AFib, is the most common heart rhythm disorder. AF is often not life-threatening, but it can be troublesome and require medical treatment. There are over 200,000 people new cases in the US each year and an estimated 16 million people are affected worldwide.
