Trudie Lobban, Founder and CEO
Trudie is recognised as a world expert at representing patients and their carers as well as working closely with all those involved in the care and treatment of people affected by cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death and has contributed to medical papers and books as well as presenting at national and international meetings from Japan to USA and Norway to South Africa.
In 1993 Trudie Lobban established STARS (www.stars.org.uk) as a result of her own daughter being diagnosed with Reflex Anoxic Seizures (RAS). Trudie brought together a multi-disciplinary group of professionals consisting of paediatricians, geriatricians, neurologists and cardiologists to form the STARS Medical Advisory committee.
Francesca Lobban, Executive Coordinator/Director
Francesca manages the United States office of Arryhthmia Alliance and the day to day operations of the infrastructure. Additionally, as a native of the United Kingdom she serves as the liason between the U.S. branch and the headquarters in the United Kingdom.
James Dismond, National Director of Development
James Dismond has an extensive background in establishing nonprofits and developing new programs/services, grant writing, fundraising and board development. James has worked with nonprofits in Kentucky, West Virginia, New Hampshire, Ohio, Iowa and now South Carolina. James is leading the charge to grow and development Arrhythmia Alliance throughout the United States. In doing so, James is responsible for expanding our message and programs in all states developing new parterships. Since James joined our organization, he has expanded Arrhythmia Alliance in South Carolina, Iowa, New Hampshire, New York and West Virginia.
Shawn Williams, National Program and Communications Director
As National Communications and Program Director, Shawn is responsible for managing and directing internal and external communications throughout the United States. Shawn also creates communication strategies, and serves as the key spokesperson and media contact for the United States organization.
Shawn works on updating our United States campaigns through our websites and social media. Other duties for Shawn's role include sustaining a constant stream of messages with press releases, monthly newsletters and online promotion via our patient advocacy portal.
