Arrhythmia Alliance News & Events
Heart Rhythm Week
Together, we can work to secure early diagnosis and improve outcomes for the many millions of people across the globe affected by arrhythmias.
Detect – Protect – Correct – Perfect!
This year, our Heart Rhythm Week Launch Event took place on Wednesday 25 May in the Terrace Pavilion at the House of Commons. The focus for our 2016 campaign is atrial fibrillation (AF), the importance of knowing your pulse, and making sure AF patients are quickly diagnosed, fully supported, and appropriately anticoagulated – most importantly staying on their therapy to reduce the risk of AF-related stroke. We will be holding various pulse check events around the UK over the coming months, and we are encouraging everyone to hold their own event – take the pulse of your parents, grandparents, friends, colleagues – the more the merrier! Make sure you check back for regular updates and photos, and please send us as many of your own pictures as you can! Click here to email your photos to us.
