The Fear by Mark Cunnington
The Fear is a fictionalised version of real life events that have taken place during Mark's life. Mark's son Matt is central to this story; he survived a sudden cardiac arrest and subsequently became the first ever boy to gain a professional football apprenticeship after being implanted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD).
Wider themes in the book include families and relationships - dementia is explored as two characters are living with dementia at the time of Matt's sudden cardiac arrest.
The Fear is available to purchase from Trio Publishing for £8.99 inc P&P. Please quote 'AATrio' in the instructions to merchant section when paying via Paypal to link your purchase to Arrhythmia Alliance. The Charity will then benefit from a £1.50 donation from each copy sold.
