All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arrhythmias
"How can we improve the lives of people with arrhythmias in the UK?"
Arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders) are a critical health concern, affecting more than two million people in the UK alone. There are many issues from a diagnosis, management and service provision perspective that need to be addressed for the benefit of patients and the NHS. An informed political voice is necessary to help raise awareness of these issues and of the proven and potential solutions that can affect positive change for millions of people in the UK.
The All Party Parliamentary Group on Arrhythmias (APPG-Arrhythmias) champions awareness of heart rhythm disorders from within the heart of Westminster.
The first meeting took place on Wednesday 25th January 2017, and was chaired by Mike Gapes MP.
